I believe the quality of our lives is shaped by the quality of our connections—beginning with the connection we have with ourselves.
Often, our current relationships suffer because of past experiences and the meanings we’ve made of them. Attached to the past and fretful of the future, we can be pulled out of the present moment. Lose our balance.
Psychotherapy offers us confidential space in which to explore our experiences. Within a respectful, empathic relationship, we can approach our wounds and hidden parts, whilst identifying and activating our unique strengths and resources in the here and now.
We can explore your current needs in relationship, and I can stand beside you during a breakup or failure of connection. I support diverse relationship models.
All of us experience common mental health challenges including stress, depression, and anxiety. I can provide a safe, space for you to process your feelings and connect to your resources.
I affirm gender, sex, and relationship diversity. I am experienced working with a range of non-conforming clients of all ages - as well as those questioning their identities or transitioning.
Traumatic experiences, including losses often leave deep wounds and scars in us. They occur at every stage of life. The meanings we make as a result can be supportive and/or destructive. In time, we can heal.
Are you acting in your own and others' best interests? Are your actions harmful or destructive? Without judgment, we will make sense of your patterns of behaviour.
Feelings of shame and self-criticism can be mild or chronic. They arise for all sorts of reasons and bring defensive behaviours. We can look at these safely together.
